$1.7 billion dollars was cut from California's Future in 2011-2012 State Budget.
Over 2 million students attend the University of California, California State University and California Community Colleges systems and we believe we must increase investment in education.
We are asking past, present and future CCC, CSU, UC students and individuals who believe that we must increase investment in California's Future to Sign the Petition to Double Support for UC, CSU and CCC systems from $8 billion to $16 billion dollars in the 2012-2013 State Budget.
Doubling support for the CCC, CSU and UCs may sound unrealistic, it may appear politically improbable and it may seem fiscally impossible. But it's not.
With your signature, your voice and your leadership, we can make doubling support for the UC, CSU and CCCs the new real, the new probable and the new possible.

I believe the 2012-2013 State Budget should double General Fund investment in the CCC, CSU and UC systems for a total $15,985,228,000.
